“The complexity of the dynamic triangular interplay among teachers and learners and subject matter continually gives birth to an endless number of questions to answer, problems to solve, issues to ponder. Every time you walk into a classroom to teach,
you face some of those issues, and if you’re a growing teacher,
you learn something new yourself.”

  1. This is the reason I love teaching. If these surprises and challenges didn't exist it would get boring. I work in teacher development too and I know there are no simple recipes for success.
i know some things though. Teaching has been the single greatest instrument in my personal growth. The classroom is the best laboratory for trying out things. What people really want is love and respect - if you give that, you can usually negociate the rest.

  2. I couldn't agree more with you, Judy! Just like you, I love teaching and the surprises and everyday rewards I get from it.

  3. That's the magic of teaching - we never teach the same thing the same way and that's a continous learning/sharing process.
